A glass for aged spirits like brandy, bourbon and whiskies. The glass has a short stem with a bowl that has a wide bottom and a comparitivly narrow lip. The wide base of the bowl is designed to be held in the hand, with the warmth from the drinker's hand also warming the drink. The narrow top also aids in trapping aromas in the bowl to be enjoyed by the drinker. Holds about 6-8 or so measures of liquid.
