Make Kiwano Liqueur by dissolving 1/2 cup sugar in 2 1/2 cups boiling water.

Mash the fruit of one ripe kiwano and add to the sugar water.

Continue to boil for 3-5 minutes.

Add 4 measure good vodka and allow to cool completely.
5.
Using 3 measure of the Kiwano liqueur, mix ingredients over ice in Collins glass.
6.
Garnish with maraschino cherry and lime wedge.
- 1 ½ measures Light rum
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 ½ cups boiling Water
- 4 measures Vodka
- ¼ tsp Maraschino syrup
- 1 measures Lime juice
