1.
Chill an Old Fashioned glass by filling with crushed ice.

In another glass mix the sugar with the bitters dissolving the sugar.
3.
Add some ice, stirring to chill.
4.
In the Old Fashioned glass remove the ice and pour in the absinthe coating the entire glass.
5.
Remove the excess absinthe.
6.
Add the Whiskey and bitters/sugar mixture.
7.
Add the Lemon Twist.
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 ½ measures Rye whiskey
- 1 dash Absinthe
- 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Ice cubes
- 1 Lemon peels
